The exhibition is divided into three Chapters:

Chapter 1: Meeting the Master - From Picasso, Dali, to Andy Warhol.

In Late 19th and early 20th century, with the awakening of post-modernism, artists were trying to explore more forms of artistic practice, and to have a closer connection to the society. In addition, the industrial revolution has fueled the modernization process in Europe and the United States. Due to the movement, the active Surrealism, Fauvism, Futurism and Cubism artists were starting to make a change through their artistic concepts and perspective from painting to an applied art, such as fashion, jewelry, textiles, household products and so on. It was a significant time for their artistic achievements, that also led to the expansion of new thoughts and art forms. Surrealism became the most fashionable and popular art genre in the 1940s. Salvador Dali, a Spanish art wizard, took the lead in integrating his surreal ideas into textile and furniture design, creating works with dream-like vision. The pioneer of cubism, Pablo Picasso also tried to do a crossover, by launching the Art for Inches Movement and designed a series of non-easel works. With Picasso's leadership and inspirational idea, a large number of artists joined the crossover, including Joan Miró, Marc Chagall and others. On the other side of the continent, pop art pioneer Andy Warhol successfully challenged the monopoly of fine painting on art. He applied advertising elements into his art, using consumer products, celebrities, news stories and repetitive images to create his artistic concepts, designing a series of fashion and textile works. In the fast-changing art world, Andy Warhol remains one of the most influential icons in contemporary art and pop culture.

Chapter 2: Meeting the Contemporary – From fine Art, Design to Fashion.

When it comes to the development of contemporary art, it is a typical interdisciplinary field. One of the important point, is to understand the concept with open-mindedness what are the concepts and forms of contemporary art? The Second chapter featured a group of internationally recognized contemporary artists, who created artistic works spanning from jewelry, oil painting, video, products, color-prints, photography and other forms. Among them are field leaders, Gijs Bakker, Ted Noten, Ruudt Peters; the internationally acclaimed contemporary artists, Liang Shang, Juju Wang and Ryuta Suzuki, etc.

Chapter 3: Meeting the Future - When Art Meets Technology.

The process of any artistic practice itself is an individual process, its diverse content provides many methods and new definitions, also could be used as a method of studying society and people, it transcends the form of aesthetics and representation. The contemporary and postmodern art has cleared its role as an important catalytic for social development in the early stages. To a certain extent, it is also a valuable evaluation standard for future creations. The emergence of new media artists became the early explorers of how Art meets technology, who created a world completely different from the real world based on new and digital technology. The existence of this world is not an objective reality, but an objective subjective mapping and future illusion, which can be perceived through technological means and visual images processing, or create a kind of "virtual reality.
